Tell me what it was about the so called West Indies that produced such great thinkers, scholars and leaders? Not that Afrikans in amerika didn't have any, but WOW. I just bought "The Philosophy and Opinions of Marcus Garvey" - don't ask when I'll get to it.
In Pembroke, Illinois, there is a Garvey fest every 3rd week in August to celebrate his birthday. I will be there again this year.
